- This story makes me so incredibly angry at everyone involved. Moreover, it reiterates my disgust over the state of the law as it pertains to cats and dogs in this country. We as a society need to get busy and better protect our animals.

- I was raised in TN and am appalled.What happened to the "Volunteer" spirit of the state?Why not at least be decent enough to save the pets?

- I think this incident is a good indication of why the VOLS should hire their next coach closer to home. As someone who grew up in East Tennessee and lives in CA now, the cultures of Southern CA and East Tennessee are night and day apart.
